How many of us believe that miracles can happen in our lives sooner than we think? Not many because we have been conditioned by logic to repel anything that cannot be explained. After reading this you will hopefully have the faith to believe that the impossible can happen in your life, just as it happen to this community.
The Muslims in an area undisclosed in Uzbekistan faced a water shortage due to severe drought. Several regions of the country have also faced water shortages due to drought.
As we all know, water is an essential element to all living creatures. Without it, for a few days, people and animals will die. That is why water is dubbed as the source of life.
As a result, the Muslims from the area had no source of water and sought the help of their imam to seek Allah’s help to provide them with fresh water. Instead of performing the Islamic prayer for rain, the locals decided to bring their imam to a water source in a remote location to the foot of a hill. The water source is a waterfall that is completely dry.
In the video below, you can hear the Imam reciting Surahs from the Qur’an. The Surahs that were recited were Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat ul-Qursi (surah 2: Ayat 255), and Surah al-Ikhlas. He then finished his recitation with a prayer on Rasullah s.a.w.(Salawat). After that, he quietly made a du’a for water. Lastly, he recited the first few verses of Surah Yassin before the miracle happened.
Watch the video from start to finish. It is less than five minutes long.
As Muslim, we all know that Zamzam water in Makkah was found by Hajar, the wife of Prophet Ibrahim and mother to Prophet Ismail. Hajar and Prophet Ismail (a.s) who was only a toddler at the time were left in a barren desert where there were no signs of life. Yet after Hajar went up and down the hills of Safa and Marwa and made du’a for Allah’s help, the angel Jibreel down and dug a well for them. A well that did not dried up until to this very day.
Thanks to modern technology, God’s miracle can now be seen by millions. Even if we weren’t present at the time, Allah had wanted this to be captured on video.
If any Muslim dismiss the story of how Zamzam water came to be, then this video should open their eyes to Allah’s miracles. Allah can answer any of our prayers and in such a short time.
If you counted the time the Imam started to recite the Quran and made du’a and the time the water appeared, then you know that it took just under 2 minutes for this to happen. If you counted the time it took from the end of the Imam’s du’a to the water bursting, you’ll realize it was only a few short seconds.
Takbeer: Allahu Akbar! God is Great!

I end this with the verse from Surah Ar Rahman (chapter 55). I think the entire surah is relevant for this video.
“Then which of the blessings of Allah do you deny?” (55:18)
